Everything gets better when the school year ends.

Bonfires. Trips to the state fair. Days at the beach. Santa Barbara to be a college kid for a week. Monopoly. Kisses and hugs. Eating pancakes at 1 am in the Denny's parking lot. Feeding the geese. Befriending them too. Drive-in movies. Crazy 7-11 sugar binges. Fixing up Betty, the pretty little red car. Roller coasters. Toilet papering. Yearbook camp. Breakfast in bed. Jacuzzi time. Go Karts and miniature golf. Staying up until 5 am and sleeping til noon. Getting a job. Falling asleep in the grass. Long walks around the lake. Car washing parties. Bowling. Getting to see my photographs up on a wall and people actually looking at them. Painting mail boxes. Going on photography missions. Saying goodbye to Amy and Bob. Staring up at the stars. Home cooked meals at grandma's house. Picnics. Girl's night out. Buying a mac. And having an Apple Genius all to myself. Concerts at the HOB. Movie marathons. Picking flowers. Bonding with the seagulls at the pier. The ice cream truck. Anatomy summer work. Having time to clean up my house whenever I want to. My 17th birthday. Psychotic family reunion in New Mexico. Healing my slightly permanent hunched back from a year of carrying a 50 pund back pack. Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Reading the newspaper with grandpa. Getting more freckles. August 25th. Freedom to do practically anything I want. Swimming until my skin gets all nice and gross and wrinkly. Flip flops, rain or shine. New nail polish to celebrate the freedom of my toes.

LAST DAY TOMORROW.
AS OF 11:15 a.m. I AM FREE.
