Ridiculously unnecessary post. But it gives me hope in the world.

So I walk into Target around 4:45. My mission- to find black pants for work, which I start Friday afternoon. I was a bit skeptical at first. I mean, yes Target has many options, but when does a store ever have exactly what you need, when you need it? I was planning on needing to go to at LEAST 3 different stores.

I'll tell you something. The red target logo must harbor unseen guardian angels. I was immediately staring at several different options in the way of pants. All reasonably priced, and all at least somewhat cute for plain black pants. Picking up my usual size, I went to go try them on. Imagine my surprise when they did not fit. Now, to a girl, pants not fitting because they're too small can occasionally be a painful trauma. But pants not fitting because they're too big is a different story. Enjoying the fact of the latter, I grab the same pants, 2 sizes down, and try them on. What do you know? Perfect fit. 2 pairs of pants, both found within 8 minutes of walking into Target. That 8 minutes includes, let me tell you, talking to my man for a minute or two when he called.
And what do I find while coming out of the dressing room? 2 five-dollar t-shirts of course. Both, ironically, adorable, and also my perfect fit. And both, associated with Halloween, and therefore entirely necessary for my existence.
We're now at 15 minutes within Target, and I have more than what I came for.
Add a pack of gum, and I'm done.
Seriously. I admire myself right now. I feel like it IS possible for girls to shop in a reasonable manner.

Moral of the story-
I found my zen in Target
and in not being cut off a single time today
and a large beverage from Jamba Juice
and getting a rose on Facebook.
Ah, peaceful state of happiness.
